group classes

There’s nothing more reassuring than having a place to go to every day, a refuge, where you can connect to yourself and be part of a beautiful and supportive community.

Work closely with your teacher and choose a regular practice program that supports your lifestyle and state of being. You might opt for a daily Yoga practice or a synergy of Yoga and Awareness through movement lessons.

Occasionally there are workshops, community classes and retreats where we can expand our horizon and spend more time together.

TRADITION

Yoga is the arising of deep interpenetrating wave patterns of feelings, thoughts, and sensations that occur when, with a clear mind and open heart, you become embodied to engage fully with others and the world around you.

My practice and teaching arrise mainly from the internal rhythms and techniques of the Ashtanga Vinyasa system. Working within the lineage of Krishnamacharya, Pattabhi Jois, and my teachers, Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor I adapt the practices to each individual’s unique circumstances, needs, and interests. Complimenting these teachings with other traditional and innovative practices like Thai Traditional bodywork, the Feldenkrais Method, yoga philosophy, Functional Anatomy and nutrition, I try to bring the ancient teaching of Yoga into the heathy context of modern times.

Through my work I aim to tickle your curiosity about the vast subject of yoga, freedom and the eternal quest for the Self . I hope you will find a doorway into the timeless teachings that can spark within you a sense of wonder and deep joy.

About the Method

Yoga is an instrument of FREEDOM

INNOVATION

Improving the relationship with yourself

The Feldenkrais Method improves your relationship with yourself by fostering increased self-awareness, promoting more intelligent and efficient movement patterns, and enhancing your overall well-being. By engaging in mindful movement practices, you can identify habitual patterns and develop new, more flexible ways of moving, leading to improved physical function and a stronger connection between your mind and body.

Either working in a group context (Awareness through movement) or a private one (Functional Integration), the method considers the whole person, recognising that physical changes can have a positive impact on mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being and emphasises the interconnectedness of mind and body. Just like Hatha yoga, the door towards freedom starts with the body, generating changes through movement patterns, that have the potential for a shifts in thought, feeling, and perception.

Yoga practitioners find Feldenkrais an extremely helpful tool for deepening their overall awareness, capacity to hold and expand their focus in different directions withought losing sight of the constant interpenetrating play of the foreground and background. Due to the fact that the Feldenkrais method directly addresses neuroplasticity, or the brain's ability to adapt and change in response to new experiences, it brings a highly relevant dimension to the yoga practice, as what is FREEDOM if not the capacity to ADAPT and change.
