Hi, I’m Alexandra.
I’ve been passionate about movement for most of my life, and I deeply believe that education—at any age—is the foundation for healthy, harmonious living. My path in life is Yoga: a journey of non-duality, inclusiveness, and kindness. This philosophy shapes how I live, how I teach, and what I’m drawn to explore.
My understanding of the dynamic relationship between body and mind began early. I trained as a competitive gymnast throughout my childhood and teenage years, which laid a strong physical foundation. Later, I pursued studies in Physical Therapy, Thai traditional bodywork, various forms of massage, meditation, yoga philosophy, trauma-informed practices, and nutrition. Each layer added depth to my approach.
Right now, I’m expanding my understanding of the Self through the Feldenkrais Method of somatic education. It’s been a fascinating and invigorating journey, and I find immense value in exploring how this method complements and enriches my Yoga practice. The bridge between Yoga and Feldenkrais is becoming more and more meaningful to me.
I’ve been practicing and teaching Yoga since 2007, mainly within the Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition, which I’ve followed for 18 years. My studies have taken me across the globe, including to Mysore, where I attended classes at KPJAYI. Among the many incredible teachers I’ve learned from, I hold deep respect and gratitude for Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor, who continue to be a source of inspiration.
I was born in a small town in the heart of Transylvania, Romania. Over the years, I’ve lived in Bucharest, Lisbon, and Berlin—and now, I’ve found a new home here in Brussels.
